Keble Giving Day 2023

Keble’s Giving Day 2023 was a resounding success.

We are thrilled to announce that our 2023 Giving Day raised a fantastic £251,228 from 312 donors, against a target of £150,000 from 250 donors. This result is a wonderful testament to the commitment of the Keble community. Thank you so much for your support.

The Giving Day is a 36-hour online giving campaign focused around engaging our entire community, from alumni to parents and friends. It’s one of the ways we fundraise from smaller level donations and demonstrate their collective impact, along with the Telethon, but the Giving Day is a different sort of tool because of the use of challenges and matched funding, the real-time proof of progress, and the ability to showcase the stories of our supporters and the beneficiaries.

The funds raised will support a variety of projects, including our impactful Access & Outreach programmes, alleviating student hardship, exacerbated by the cost of living crisis, graduate scholarships for disadvantaged students, securing the future of one of our strongest subjects via the History Fellowship appeal, and Keble’s very successful sports record, through strengthening our rowing provision.

Amongst the many successes achieved, our target of £33,000 for Graduate Scholarships was reached, which released £100,000 in matched funding from the Oxford Conference of Colleges. This sum will support three Academic Futures Scholarships at Keble: two for home students on the Black Academic Futures or Care-Experienced Academic Futures programme, and one for an overseas student on the Refugee Academic Futures programme.

Thank you to everyone who took part this year: we are hugely grateful for your support.
