Staying Connected | What’s New

There has been a gentle shake-up in the Alumni Office, as part of our ongoing efforts to make staying connected with Keble (and with each other) as easy and enjoyable as possible.

The Team

Krista Karppinen, our Head of Alumni Engagement, now leads reunions, events built around shared interests, such as the Mitre Club dinner, and events for alumni further afield, whether that means Shropshire or Singapore.

Meanwhile, Jazz McCall is your go-to if you matriculated within the last ten years. Whether you are returning for your graduation or coming to our popular Entrepreneurs’ Evenings, Jazz is on hand to help you find your people and your place in the Keble alumni community.

Double the reunions

Reunion weekends are among the most-loved fixtures in the calendar: a chance to reconnect, reminisce, and wonder how it’s already been that many years! To help make room for everyone, we’re introducing a second reunion weekend each July, starting in 2026.

We will share further details soon, but in the meantime, save the dates:

Early 1990s Reunion (1990–1994): 4 July 2026
Late 1990s Reunion (1995–1999): 19 September 2026
Early 2000s Reunion (2000–2004): 3 July 2027
Late 2000s Reunion (2005–2009): 18 September 2027

The Talbot Society

We are also pleased to introduce something new: an annual gathering for the Talbot Society, our community of alumni and friends whose regular giving helps Keble flourish. Just as the College was built on the subscriptions of its earliest benefactors, today’s regular support continues to sustain and enrich academic life. The Talbot Society celebrates those who carry that tradition forward.

The inaugural event will take place at the Royal Society on 23 October 2025, and will include a lecture by Honorary Fellow Professor Sir Adrian Smith, followed by a drinks reception. Invitations will be sent later this summer. If you have any questions, please contact Kirsty Rose.

Get involved

We are always glad to hear from alumni who would like to support the College community, and there are plenty of ways to get involved. You might send in a note for the termly the brick newsletter, host a gathering in your city, give a talk, or share a business idea at one of our events.

If you are up for something a little more regular, you could volunteer as a year group rep, helping us spread the word about upcoming events or passing on the occasional message from the College. It’s flexible, informal, and genuinely appreciated.

And finally, don’t forget to update your contact details and preferences. It’s the simplest way to make sure you receive invites, news, and the odd handwritten note from us.

We hope to see you back at Keble soon.
