Name Your Room | A Lasting Link to Keble

In the course of Keble’s history, some student rooms have welcomed over 150 occupants, mercifully not all at once. From the Victorian quads to The H B Allen Centre, each of the College’s 550 rooms has quietly borne witness to generations of student life.

Many Keble alumni will already be familiar with the Name Your Room initiative: launched in the lead up to our 150th anniversary, it offers alumni the opportunity to sponsor one of the rooms they once called home.

Since its launch, over 300 alumni have taken part, creating a growing record of Keble students, room by room, name by name. With 550 student rooms across Liddon, Pusey, Hayward, de Breyne, Arco, Sloane Robinson and The H B Allen Centre, there’s still plenty of scope to add your own chapter.

Using our Room Finder, you can locate the rooms you lived in and let us know which one you'd like to sponsor. For a donation of £2,500, we will add your name, year of matriculation and subject to the plaque, a small but lasting connection between past and present.

There are several ways to give:

  • a single donation of £2,000 (plus £500 Gift Aid for UK taxpayers), or

  • monthly instalments of £33.33 over five years, or £16.66 over ten.

If you already have an existing regular donation to the Talbot Fund, you can tell us you’d like to name your room, whilst still supporting your area of choice.

Whether you're marking your own time at Keble, remembering a friend, or simply wishing to stay connected, sponsoring your room is a meaningful way to be part of something enduring.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Phil.
