Remembering a Vagabond

On Saturday, 5 July, a group of long-standing Keble friends gathered to honour the memory of one of their own. Michael Burns (1976 PPE), a cherished member of the Keble cricketers, fondly known as the ‘Vagabonds’, sadly passed away earlier this year.

As a lasting tribute to Michael’s life and his deep love of cricket, the Vagabonds’ inner circle came together to fund a new set of sight screens for the Keble College Cricket Club. In addition, a commemorative plaque will be permanently installed at the Keble Sports Ground to celebrate Michael’s legacy and enduring connection to the College community.
