Paul Johnson to be Provost at The Queen’s College

Director of the Institute for Fiscal Studies and an Honorary Fellow at Keble, Paul Johnson (1985 PPE) has been elected as the next Provost of The Queen’s College, Oxford. We wish him the best for August 2025 when he will begin this role.

 

Chelsea Walker directing Globe Theatre production

Award-winning theatre director Chelsea Walker (2007 English Language and Literature) is making her Globe debut, bringing Shakespeare’s lesser seen All’s Well That Ends Well to life in London’s only candlelit theatre. The production is being performed in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse until 4 January 2025.

 

‘The Application’ podcast with Keble Alumni

Over the past several months, the Saïd Business School’s ‘The Application’ podcast, created to celebrate 20 years of the Oxford Executive MBA, has discussed stories of leadership and entrepreneurship with 13 alumni, four of whom are Keble’s own. These episodes are expertly hosted by Keble Fellow by Special Election Kathy Harvey.

Featured Keble alumni include Olympic rower Tim Foster MBE (2013 EMBA), CFO of Founders Factory Africa Thabiso Foto (2021 EMBA), former four-star US general Tom Bostick (2020 EMBA) who was at the Pentagon when it was hit on September 11th 2001, and entrepreneur and coach Lucy Mullins (2011 EMBA). Suzanna Fitzpatrick and Barney Norris at the Creation Theatre

As part of a series of poetry readings run by the Creation Theatre in association with Live Canon, alumni Suzanna Fitzpatrick (1994 English) and Barney Norris (2006 English) performed readings alongside six other poets at the United Reformed Church in Summertown last month.
