The Talbot Society

The Talbot Society was set up to recognise individuals who choose to support the College through regular gifts, regardless of the amount or frequency, acknowledging their vital role in continuing a tradition that dates back to the foundation of Keble. Just as the College was originally built on the subscriptions of its earliest benefactors, regular giving today helps to sustain and enhance our vibrant academic community.

Becoming a regular donor and, as such, a Talbot Society member, is a meaningful way to contribute to the College's future while joining a legacy of dedicated supporters. To recognise those Talbot Society members, we have created a few tokens of appreciation. The first of these is the iconic Keble brick.

Having been used to thank those graduating students who made a “Leaver’s Gift” since 2013, the foam brick is now available to any alumnus/a prior to 2013 matriculation who signs up for a regular gift of at least £60 pa or £5 pm.

In addition to the brick, donors will also be sent a red brick pin badge when they commence their regular gift. And, to recognise ongoing commitment, donors will receive a blue brick pin badge after 5 years and the coveted golden dinosaur badge (based on the Blackhall Road dinosaur graffito) after 10 years.

We are very fortunate that almost a quarter of our alumni support the College through regular giving, which helps us plan ahead effectively whilst keeping administration and fundraising costs down, allowing the Keble community to thrive. We are very grateful for your continued support.
