Young Alumni Drinks
Caption
On the evening of 26 February, Keble alumni who matriculated within the past 20 years gathered in London for the first Young Alumni event of 2026. Held at The Dark Horse, a venue in Camden co-owned by Keble alumnus Stephen Tozer (2008 PPE), the evening brought together over 90 attendees. The setting proved an ideal one for the occasion: welcoming, lively and perfectly suited to an informal gathering of Keble friends. Over drinks and snacks, alumni caught up with former contemporaries and met new faces across different year groups. The evening also brought many recent graduates who were attending their first Keble alumni event, offering the chance to build connections with the wider community beyond their student years.
Warden Dr Sir Mike Jacobs joined the occasion, enjoying conversations with several alumni who had been students during his early years at Keble. As the evening unfolded, the distinctive Keble spirit was unmistakeable, creating a warm and jovial atmosphere throughout. The London location made it an accessible opportunity for many to attend after work, and marked a wonderful start to this year’s Young Alumni events calendar.
Looking ahead, there are hopes to host more informal gatherings like this, including in cities beyond London. Alumni are warmly encouraged to share where they are based and where they would like to see the next Keble Young Alumni gathering take place.
